SBT warrants its standard remanufactured engines for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase against any failure that would require replacement.
SBT’s obligations are limited to repair or replacement of the engine.
All warranty claims must be submitted in writing within fourteen (14) days of discovering a defect or by telephone with an RGA number issued by SBT.
Engines must be returned within thirty (30) days of notice to SBT, postage prepaid, including only original parts supplied by SBT.
Warranty does not cover engines modified or disassembled, labor charges, or damage to other components.
This warranty does not apply to personal watercraft used for rental or commercial purposes.
All disputes under this warranty are subject to mandatory non-binding mediation in Pinellas County, Florida, before legal action. Legal actions must be filed exclusively in Pinellas County, Florida, and the prevailing party is entitled to attorney’s fees and costs.
